What are we looking for in our next new hire?

  • High school diploma and 3-5 years experience in medical office setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of EMR systems, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to serve as liaison between management and staff.
  • Skilled in problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.

**Strong preference for candidates with experience managing an ophthalmology clinic.**

What will you be doing?

Under the direction of management, coordinates day-to-day administrative and clinical operations within the clinic including but not limited to medical records management, patient scheduling and registration, insurance verification, and allocation of work to clinical staff. Serves as a lead worker and subject matter expert for various functions in the clinic. Such knowledge can be inclusive of administrative and direct patient care. This position has various location openings around the Columbus area.
