Our company is in need of an experienced Native English Speaking Proofreader/Editor to join our Team as a freelancer. You will be required to

• Proofreading technical, operational, course modules, contract, and legal materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, use, consistency, and brand voice.
• Check prepared text before it is published to assure it is accurate, reads properly, and follows in-house style.
• Pay attention to style, fact-checking, and consistency. If necessary, give rewriting suggestions and add or remove words, phrases, or sentences to improve a text's readability.
• Create clear, engaging unique prose, you can turn your ideas and drafts into successful messages.
• Write high-quality material with a focus on providing descriptive, clear, concise, compelling, and grammatically correct information that resonates with the target audience to continually raise the standard on innovation.
• Perform rewrite, structural editing, copy editing, fact checking, citations and references checking and ensure the final content can be easily understood by the readers.
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of editing/proofreading experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• A passion for hunting typos and correcting grammar
• Accuracy under the pressure of extremely tight deadlines
• Strong organizational skills: handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Contract length: 12 months
