About this Position:

This position will be a liaison from In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) division to Resource & Business Planning Unit (RBP). This member will collect information, summarize, and represent IVI division to support RBP unit information requests and formatting. The associate will gather data and collaborate with more senior members for conclusion creation and direction setting.

RBP unit targets to achieve business competitiveness goals through proactively managing ADC's resource strategy and improve efficiency. RBP organizes Quarterly Budget Revisions for a fiscal period and Midterm Planning for Six Year Future Plan. Through engaging with other department managements, product development conditions are aligned, scenario analysis is performed, and resource planning / decision making occurs to enhance resource management.


Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing multiple data sources (A-requirements, Drawing, Workload, Budget, development schedule, DR Theme schedule, out of office plan, attrition, capability, etc.) in detail to identify host department outputs relation to resource spending and monitoring trend for efficiency.
  • Identify data trends not previously identified through deep understanding of the data and the ability to holistically review each problem.
  • Transform data using SQL, Python, R, etc. to identify trends that lead to actionable problems.
  • Effectively generate ideas and support building tools in order to automate analysis processes.
  • Summarize and evaluate data, make conclusions, and provide direction on problems identified.
  • Using engineering analysis, develop a risk assessment, considering seriousness, urgency and growth of emerging market problems.
  • Ensure data integrity through testing of results.
  • Responsible to report resource status for hosting department to hosting department managements bi-weekly and monitor resource indicators for potential future risks.
  • Report current capability, achievable reduction target, and risk impact to BU leads at annual long term workload planning event for the hosting department.

Who we are seeking:


Required Work Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Analytical or information analysis required

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics or Business with strong engineering aptitude.

Desired skills:

  • Ability to technically investigate, derive conclusions from data and analytically approach problem cause phenomena.
  • Ability to understand business requirements for assigned host departments
  • Ability to communicate analysis result to management and executives.
  • Ability to understand financial transaction

Additional Position Factors:

  • Local travel between plants/buildings on Ohio's campuses will be required
  • Expected 2-8 hours overtime per week as needed
  • Open office environment to freely share ideas
