About the Position:
As a senior manager within AML RightSource and part of the marketing Senior Leadership Team the Head of Brand Marketing (HoB) is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and tactics of the brand marketing team. This role will lead a dedicated marketing team as well as working closely with the Head of Growth Marketing (HoG) to ensure the successful achievement of our marketing ambitions.
The role will interact with key senior stakeholders across sales & GTM, product development and client operations to communicate the activities that brand marketing are working on to drive the strategic marketing agenda.
This role will lead the following key areas that will drive the brand and brand experience for the entire group, bring together one business under a single brand and brand experience strategy.
- Brand strategy, identify and governance.
- Brand awareness and consideration generation/campaigning.
- Brand communications including the company's Public Relations (PR) management and internal communications.
- Website management, maintenance and development including SEO and consent.
- Digital brand positioning across organic social media and similar channels.
- Any inhouse creative resources including design and audio-visual media.
This role will require a senior marketing professional with strong ability to think of the big picture and make the most of a budget that brings our brand, brand experience and propositions to life for our customers, enabling our growth marketing agenda to be maximized.
In this role you will:
- Define the brand identity proposition and govern its use across the business including our portfolio approach, approvals framework and brand book/guidelines
- Direct and lead the planning, execution and measurement activities that increase brand awareness and consideration amongst our target customers.
- Define, plan and manage the execution of all channels owned within 'brand' that are directly impacting the brand awareness and consideration rates including PR, organic social and other TTL advertising.
- Own and lead the brand experience of AML RightSource across the digital landscape including the building of, optimization and performance of the website when it comes to both (1) the organization's brand goals as well as well as (2) the needs of our growth marketing agenda, driven by the Growth Marketing team.
- Provide in house support to the growth marketing team by generating marketing creative, collateral and materials that the campaign team, business partners and others will use in the execution of marketing campaign and sales interactions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Recruit, retain and manage the brand marketing team including performance management, developing OKRs and personal development plans.
- To strategically lead initiatives focused on generating brand awareness and improving consideration rates amongst our target customers.
- To ensure a clarified and transparent range of market proposition that tour customers can easily identify and understand when interacting with our website and other organic channels.
- To measure, report and ensure a clarified roadmap that will drive improvement and/or maintain levels of brand awareness, consideration, reach, advocacy and recommendation.
- To deputise for the group's marketing lead when it comes to brand and brand experience/website.
Requirements:
- Senior experience in marketing, including at enterprise B2B, with demonstrated success leading top-performing brand, communications and PR teams within companies going through transformation.
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Experience in a leadership position managing a team.
- Experience in professional services, financial services industry or regulated industries.
- Commercialization and proposition/product launch experience.
- Understanding of the wider strategic marketing goals and skillset with the ability to support, compliment and challenge marketing peers to get the right results.
- Strong business acumen, financially aware and data/results orientated.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and organizational skills
