The Drafting Detailer will work with the Drafting team to detail drawings for fabrication and installation from created models.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create plans, sections, elevations and details for various projects.
• Work with the drafting team to detail drawings.
• Actively communicates progress, and schedule implications to the drafting team.
• Will make shop manufacturable drawings for bending, material cutting and fabrication, as well as assembly.
• Will print and collate drawings to send out to the shop floor.
• Some drawings with be from scratch, while others will be modifications of existing drawings.
• Maintains files and documentation per department protocols.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment to develop innovative solutions.
• Other support functions as required.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

• No minimum education requirement
• 2+ years of SolidWorks
• 1+ years of AutoCAD experience
• Knowledge of 2D drawings and 3D modeling
• Must be willing to travel and stay on location for duration of the project
• No certifications required
• Must meet background check and drug test requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Fabrication shop knowledge
• Be self-reliant and able to operate independently.
• Ability to ask for additional direction and assistance when needed
• Excellent communication skills
