We are a locally owned and operated medical billing company with approximately 60 employees. Our clients are physicians and physician groups, mostly pathologists and anesthesiologists. We bill patients and the patients' insurance for services received from our clients. In addition to taking patient phone calls, the customer service rep may help with other tasks such as data entry or calling insurance companies or going to their website to find out if a claim has been received or why it has not been paid. Other responsibilities could also include filing appeals, fixing and resubmitting denied claims, working error reports, entering patient demographic and charge data, etc. The customer service rep spends the majority of his or her time working in our billing system. No previous experience is required. We look for candidates who are intelligent, fast learners, and have a strong work ethic and desire to grow and be challenged. Computer skills are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.25 per hour
